Online Spanish Course Fees in India: A1 to C2 Group and One-to-One Prices

If you are a complete beginner, A1 is the usual entry point. The  Common European Framework of Reference for Languages describes six levels, from A1 to C2. You do not need to purchase all six to start learning Spanish. Your next level should follow your goal and progress. 

What does the Spanish A1 price buy you? 

For the listed 60-hour A1 group course, ₹13,800 works out to  ₹230 per scheduled teaching hour (₹13,800 ÷ 60). That is a way to understand the quoted package, not an hourly rate for a private tutor. The A1 one-to-one package works out to ₹430 per listed hour (₹25,800 ÷ 60). 

IIFLS says its current fee includes live instruction, practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing, recorded-session and student-portal access, study support and course books delivered within India. Confirm the relevant book edition, delivery conditions, length of recording access and whether your chosen batch has the same inclusions. An external DELE or SIELE examination fee should be checked separately; a course-completion certificate is different from an external proficiency diploma. 

An offer with fewer hours may have a lower total price but a higher cost per live hour. For example, a hypothetical ₹8,000 package containing 20 live hours costs ₹400 per live hour. That calculation alone cannot measure teaching quality, but it can reveal a misleading headline-price comparison.  

Which Spanish level should you pay for?

The right course fee depends on the level you need to reach. If you are starting from scratch, begin with A1 and decide whether to continue to A2 after assessing your progress. If you already know some Spanish, ask for a level assessment before paying for a beginner course.

For a goal beyond everyday conversation, read the Spanish B1 syllabus and Spanish B2 syllabus to compare the skills covered at each stage. B1 focuses on communicating about familiar experiences and opinions; B2 moves towards more detailed discussion and writing. What else do live online Spanish classes cost in India?

For  July–December 2026 ,  Instituto Cervantes New Delhi lists its online general Spanish courses at  ₹18,000 for a 60-hour weekday course and  ₹19,000 for a 60-hour weekend course . These are the provider's published prices for that period; schedules, enrolment terms and available levels should be checked on its site. They do not establish a national average. 

Private tutors may quote per lesson or per package; self-study subscriptions may quote monthly or annually. When considering these options, note the currency, renewal period, class length, whether a trainer attends live, and how much speaking feedback is included. A recorded lesson library and a 60-hour instructor-led course are different purchases. 

Group classes, private lessons or self-study: which budget fits? 

Choose a live group class if you want a regular timetable, guided practice with other learners and a published fee for a full level. Confirm the actual batch size and what happens if you miss a class. 

Consider one-to-one lessons if you need individual pacing, schedule flexibility or focused work on a particular skill. Ask whether the quote covers the same syllabus and number of hours as the group option. 

Use self-study resources if you need flexible daily revision. They can support vocabulary and listening practice between classes. Check how you will get feedback on your speaking and writing if those are important to your goal. 

For instance, someone learning for a holiday may start with A1 and decide later whether to progress. A learner seeking a specific university or employer requirement should first verify the required language level and any accepted external exam, then obtain a course quotation for that path. A course by itself does not guarantee admission, employment or a particular test result. 

Will a Spanish combo course reduce the total fee? 

If you already plan to complete several levels, IIFLS lists an  A1 + A2 live group offer at ₹25,000 , compared with ₹27,600 for the two separately listed levels, a difference of ₹2,600. It also lists  A1 + A2 + B1 at ₹40,000 , compared with ₹46,400 separately, a difference of ₹6,400. Buying a longer path only makes sense when the levels match your goal and you understand the joining, schedule, transfer and refund terms. If you are undecided, start with the level you need now and ask for the next-level schedule before committing to a package.
