  1. An – At, on, by
    • Ich wohne an der Straße. (I live on the street.)
    • Er lehnt das Buch an die Wand. (He leans the book against the wall.)
  2. Auf – On, onto, upon
    • Das Buch liegt auf dem Tisch. (The book is on the table.)
    • Sie springt auf das Pferd. (She jumps onto the horse.)
  3. Hinter – Behind
    • Der Schlüssel ist hinter der Tür. (The key is behind the door.)

  6. Gegen – Against
